This Privacy Policy explains how yesnohire ("we", "us"), operated by Vadym Radionov, processes personal data about you — the user (a recruiter, hiring manager, or hiring organization) when you use our Service.
This policy is about your data as a user. For the personal data of candidates whom you interview, please see our separate Candidate Privacy Notice, which explains how that data is handled. In short: for candidate data, we generally act as a data processor on your behalf (you are the controller). For your own account data, we act as a data controller.
1. Who is responsible
For your user data, the data controller is:

2. What data we process about you
- Account data: your email address, password (stored hashed), and account settings.
- Usage and billing data: your balance, credit transactions (top-ups, bonuses, charges for interviews), and records of your activity in the Service.
- Content you provide: vacancies, candidate résumés, and interview data you upload or generate. (Note: this content contains candidate personal data — its processing is covered by the Candidate Privacy Notice and our processor obligations to you.)
- Technical data: log data, device/browser information, and analytics about how you use the Service.
- Communications: messages you send us (e.g. support, or our contact form) — your name, your email address, the content of the message, and basic technical details of the submission (IP address and browser), which we keep to answer you and to prevent abuse of the form.
- Waitlist (closed): the Service used to have an early-access waitlist. We no longer collect waitlist addresses — anyone can create an account directly — but we still hold the addresses submitted while it was open, and you can ask us to remove yours at any time.
We do not receive or store your payment card details — payments are handled by our payment provider as Merchant of Record (see section 6).
3. Why we process your data, and legal bases

Where we rely on legitimate interests, you may object (see section 8).
4. Analytics
We use a privacy-conscious analytics tool, PostHog (EU Cloud — analytics data is processed in the EU), to understand how the Service is used and to improve it. Analytics runs cookieless — it stores nothing in cookies or local storage on your device. We configure analytics to avoid capturing personal data and interview content — analytics events record actions and their occurrence, not the names, résumés, or transcripts involved. Session recordings, where used, are configured to mask all text and input so that candidate names, résumés, and assessments are not readable.
5. Who we share your data with
We share your data only as needed to run the Service:
- Service providers (sub-processors) acting on our instructions: hosting and database — Vercel and Supabase; meeting-recording/transcription — Recall.ai (with the speech-to-text engines Gladia and Speechmatics); AI model provider — Anthropic; analytics — PostHog; and payment processing — Creem (acting as Merchant of Record).
- Legal and safety: where required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and against fraud.
- Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may be transferred, subject to this policy.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
6. Payments
Payments are processed by Creem (creem.io), acting as Merchant of Record. They process your payment, handle taxes, and are responsible for your payment/card data under their own privacy policy. We receive confirmation of payment and the amount, but not your full card details.
7. International data transfers
Some providers may process your data outside your country or the EEA. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by law (such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision).
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to: access your data; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to certain processing (including processing based on legitimate interests); data portability; and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
- Export: you can request a copy of your account data (the "Download my data" feature).
- Deletion: you can delete your account. This permanently deletes your account and associated content (vacancies, candidates, résumés, interviews, and reports). Billing and transaction records may be retained where required by law (see section 9). We do not retain your interview content after deletion. Deleting your account also removes any contact-form messages and waitlist entry held under the same email address. If you never had an account — for example, you only joined the waitlist or wrote to us — email us and we will erase what we hold about you.

9. How long we keep your data
We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymize it, subject to legal retention obligations.
Default retention (may be adjusted): account data — for the life of your account, deleted on account deletion; interview data (transcripts, assessments, reports) — for the life of your account or until you delete the relevant items, whichever is earlier; billing and transaction records — retained for the period required by applicable accounting and tax law (commonly several years) even after account deletion, as a legal obligation.
Some data is not tied to an account at all, and is kept until you ask us to remove it: former waitlist entries — addresses submitted while the early-access list was open, kept until you ask us to take yours off; contact-form messages — until you ask us to delete them, or until they are deleted together with an account registered to the same email address.
10. Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including access controls that isolate each account's data, encryption in transit, and contractual restrictions on our providers. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
The Service is for professional use by adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from children as users.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version is always available at https://yesnohire.com/privacy, and material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date and, where appropriate, notified to you.
